A country made period Welsh chair.
Made from solid Fruitwood this primitive chair has a great shape from its fretwork back rail and simple straight rails with a rudimentary nailed in place, single plank seat with a moulded edge. All joints are traditional pegged mortice and tenons complete with lower stretchers which have the most stunning wear from hundreds of years of feet. The chair also features its beautiful lightly faded original colour and the chair is solid with no loose joints or wobbles.
Please note this item is in very good condition for its age but does have signs of wear and tear, however, we feel that these points are which adds to part of its charm and character with it being antique.
