I couldn''t resist this beautiful hand made woodworkers plane from the 18thc....it is of a small size and can be adjusted for size using a threaded screw sunk into the top....it is made of English beech and finely finished with a brass hinge mounted at the rear and stamped underneath J.Moss - Maker - Warrington.....J. Moss was a ''tool'' maker in the latter part of the 18thc from Warrington, which is in Lancashire....the plane is in very good used condition with a fine patina to the beech and metalware.
English. C1780-C1800.
