A rare survival from the 17thc , is this early example of a London made triple reeded pewter plate....it is only 8.60'' (22cms) wide and was made by John Hulls...it is stamped LONDON and also has his personal touchmark, plus a crowned rose which denotes higher quality...as if that is not enough, it also has the original owners initials TW.....in very good condition.
English - London C1676 - C1709. Provenance: The Brian Hawtin collection.
