Period 18th Century Georgian Oak Antique Dresser
This Period 18th Century Georgian Oak Antique Dresser Base / Lancashire chest dates from around 1760 and is a super country piece. It has a beautifully figured top above an unusual drawer configuration with decorative brass swan neck handles. This wonderful antique dresser stands on shaped bracket feet and has quarter column sides. This period chest has old repairs and comes with wonderful genuine charm and character consistent with age, adding to its character and authenticity. The Oak has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
