• Harry was a successful artist who specialised in Country Scenes especially including horses, with abilities being recognised with senior membership of both the RBA and ROI.
 
• He developed an impressionist style with heavy impasto.
 
• With natural reflected light on the picture – in conjunction with the superb impasto, the picture has a magical quality that changes with the light. It represents one of the best examples of his work.
 
• In superb Gallery condition. Pictures like this have achieved some really strong prices at auction in the last few years.
 
• Signed bottom right-hand corner.
