Art Deco Cheval Mirror by Betty Joel

1920 - 1940
Description

A quality wooden framed, easel cheval mirror by Betty Joel, made from American walnut and inset with West Indian satinwood panelling. The bevelled mirror in excellent condition. The Betty Joel Token Works label to the back of the easel.

Betty Joel designed furniture, textiles and interiors, and had shops in Sloane Square and Knightsbridge. The Studio Magazine featured her work between 1927 and 1937. Today the quality and design of her pieces are highly regarded.

All our furniture is professionally polished and restored where necessary. Our restorer has over 40 years of furniture restoration experience including 15 years living at Windsor Castle whilst working for the Royal household, so comes highly recommended! This cheval mirror in showroom condition.
