Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The flat top surface, surrounded by a conforming ogee, concave, and stepped mould profile edge, following the bow front centre, sweeping to square corners, and thence a bow return, finished with a corner facings.
The whole with the original gilt finish.
