Amazing early 19th century Italian Baroque Mirror with ornately hand carved wood frame dating from around 1820. The mirror scrolling acanthus leaf and floral carving and a fine pineapple finial above mythical mask head. This has its original mercury plate glass with characterful ageing and original iron work hangers and handles to the back This is all hand carved in numbered sections fixed from the rear and it is all hand gessoed with the original painted finish. Very imposing measuring 2 metres in height by 105 cms wide.
