A Large 18th Century Italian Walnut Work Table.

This superb table is of particularly large scale, with great depth and made from solid walnut. The top is planked and crossbanded and has drawers to each end, rather than the sides. The drawer fronts and sides are panelled. Supported by six tapering square sectioned legs. The quality of the timber used is also noteworthy. The table is very well made using 'pegged construction' as would be expected on a piece of this age.

An attractive table retaining a charming aged surface and a lovely colour.
