George I carved Oak Mule Chest dated 1726
The hinged lid with ogee moulded edges, lifting to reveal a spacious interior and two fitted interior drawers, the front with carved top featuring initials of WG and dated 1726, flanked by scrolling foliage in recessed relief, above three panels and two short drawers to the base.
The fronts each with brass wing handles, on stile feet.
