A fine pair of Japanese Meiji period cloisonne enamel vases of baluster form on a pink ground depicting butterflies in flight amongst branches of flowering Chrysanthemum, finished with decorative diaper borderwork around the rim and foot. Both these charming cloisonne vases are in excellent condition with no damage; standing 7 ¼ inches tall.
