We are delighted to offer this splendid antique 14ct gold ruby & diamond bar brooch made c.1900.

Immediately captivating upon first glance, this brooch presents a wonderful contrast of white sparkles from the diamonds and the two distinctly richly saturated rubies in the centre.

Two additional pearl accents are applied on each end completing its overall look and aesthetic proportions. The goldwork of the brooch on the back is very fine and well made with a trombone clasp to ensure a secure closure and no risk of prickling. The rose cut diamonds and rubies are set in silver enhancing their sparkle and truly come to life upon wearing in natural daylight with each different facet reflecting light in all manner of angles.

The brooch is unmarked as is common with articles of this age thus we have tested it indicating 14ct gold and silver.
