Late Victorian Walnut Wind-out Dining Table.

A fantastic solid Walnut wind out dining table. We bring to you a marvellous example of a late Victorian to early Edwardian solid Walnut wind out table believed to be made around C1890.

This lovely table is in almost flawless condition with a lovely highly glazed polished finish and idyllic lightly faded original Walnut colour. The table has 4 beautifully turned substantial Walnut legs which stands on its original castors on brown porcelain wheels with brass ferrules making this table easy to move. This table is complete with its single original additional leaf giving this table a small overall form when the leaf is not in use or quite a large table when the leaf is in. This table can manage to accommodate 4-8 chairs and be used as a formal dining room or even a breakfast table. This table has been recently fully restored and French polished. The winding mechanism has been greased, is working smoothly and is strong without any sagging whilst maintaining a flat top when extended (later replacement winding handle is included). The table is solid with no joint movement or twisting. This item is in outstanding condition as shown by the photographs however being an antique item of this age there are blemishes and scuffs here and there which we feel adds to its originality and heritage.
