Description

An extremely good quality French Neoclassical style grey marble antique mantel clock from the Victorian period. The case has bronze gilt lions head ring carrying handles to the sides stood on scrolling lions paw feet with urn to the top and medallion to the centre of the dish.

The clock has a decorative brass bezel with etched gilt Roman numerals and a French eight day movement which strikes the hours and half hours on a bell with outside count wheel.

The movement is stamped with the retailers name:-
