Description

This elegant Art Deco solid silver tea caddy has a simple and beautiful canted rectangular form. It is a small tea caddy and is rather charming. It is dated Birmingham 1925 and bears the marks of Synyer & Beddoes. The hinged lid with flame finial.

Hallmarks:

S*B for Synyer & Beddoes.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Date letter "B" for 1926.

Lion Passant.

Dimensions and Weight:

Height up to finial: 9cm / 3.4 inches

Width: 7cm / 2.6 inches.

Depth: 5.5cm / 2 inches.

Weight: 123g / 4.1oz.

Condition

Very good.

No dings. No dents. No repairs.

Good hinge.

Minor surface wear, commensurate with age and use.
