Description

Elegant George VI sterling silver three-piece tea service. Round baluster bodies are raised on stepped pedestal feet and are trimmed with delicate garland borders depicting swags and ribbon bows. The sugar bowl and creamer have typical Art Deco geometric handles with pyramid decorations. The teapot has ebonised finial and handle.

Made by A E Poston & Co and fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1937.

Sugar bowl and creamer in excellent vintage condition. Teapot has few small dings to one side and a shallow indent to another side; small ding to base of teapot; some tea staining inside the teapot appropriate to use.
