Artisan Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.

The pendant is embellished with fine seed pearls of tapering sizes and three drop peals which move freely upon wearing.
The centrepiece attraction is without question the enchanting pink tourmaline which has the most wonderful light pink hue that also changes to a more saturated purply-pink shade depending on the lighting. This unique colour and combination on this Edwardian pendant makes for a distinguished addition to any antique jewellery lover's collection and a conversation starter upon wearing.

Owing to its bail and pin on the reverse side, it can be worn practically both as a brooch or a necklace and its alluring colour is a wonderful accent to any outfit.
Overall, a highly attractive and unique piece of Edwardian jewellery - whilst more common combinations of gemstones such as amethyst and pearls are usually see, this pink tourmaline is certainly an unusual find and a must have for lovers of all things pink.

Pink tourmaline is known to be the birthstone for October and Pearls, June.
The pendant is unmarked as is common with articles of this period and as such we have tested it fully with results indicating 15ct solid gold.

Ready to wear out of the box: All of our pendants also include the photographed thinner complimentary 9ct solid gold (modern) chain so that you can enjoy your newly acquired treasure straight out of the box. The antique and heavier belcher chain is for display purposes only.

All of our jewellery comes with a complimentary hard shell gift box with a velvet interior.
