In the manner of E.W. Godwin 1833-86. A Good Aesthetic Movement Painted Ash & Oak 2 Piece Bedroom Suite Manufactured by Waugh & Sons circa 1870s. Both with matching red and black painted geometric decorations and stringing.
 
Single wardrobe, moulded cornice over central door inset with mirror, flanked by painted panels to either side, raised on plinth base. All original brass hardware.
 
Chest of drawers with moulded rectangular painted top, 2/3 drawers. Raised on plinth base. Complete with key and all original brass hardware. Drawers run smoothly. Nice clean, sturdy example.
