A Good Quality George III Period Mahogany Occasional Wine Table Having Very Well Figured Circular Top, Raised On Elegant Turned Central Stem, Terminating On Swept Tripod Legs With Original Turned Circular Ball Feet.
A simple, but attractive little wine table which stands nicely and has real elegance.
Constructed from good, well figured mahogany timber it retains a good colour and patina. Taken in combination with a nice elegant central column and the tripod legs it would certainly add a touch of class and elegance to just about any room of the house at a relatively reasonable price compared to many.
The perfect size for an absolute host of spaces around the home, it is both beautiful and practical. It would work just as well alongside a sofa or library chair in the living room to place a drinks glass on top of, as it would in the drawing room with a lamp perched atop, or even in the bedroom as a bedside table.
As with all our items this table has been attended to in our worksops by our highly trained, skilled, traditional antique furniture restorers, before being offered for sale, meaning it has received any work required to ensure it is ready to place straight into the home, including a natural wax polish.
