An Excellent Quality Early 19th Century, George III Period, Mahogany Rectangular Occasional Lamp Table, Of Charming Proportion, Having Superbly Figured Top With Angled Corners, Over One Drawer And One False Drawer To Panelled Frieze, Raised On Elegant Turned Central Column With Elegant Scrolling Tripod Legs Below.
An incredibly useful little occasional table from the early 19th century georgian period which is perfect to utilise alongside a settee or armchair, or even tucked away in the corner of the room with a lamp on top of it. Of course the drawer adds an additional level of function and would possibly even allow it to be used as a hall table, or bedside table.
There are no structural defects or areas of significant historical damage to speak of, just the expected old marks which have blended into the surface which one would expect to find on an item which is well over 200 years old.
As with all items which we offer for sale this piece has been inspected and attended to in our workshops by our highly skilled, trained specialist antique furniture restorers and received a natural wax polish before being offered for sale to ensure it is in its best possible condition before being offered for sale.
