A very large antique giltwood overmantel mirror dating from 1860.
Frame retaining it''s original gold leaf water-gilding which is in very good overall condition.
Original mercury silvered mirror plate which has a fantastic overall sparkle to the silvering, a couple of scuffs to the extreme lower section of plate, probably due to a mantle clock rubbing against the glass.
Original backing board.
