Antique hallmarked silver and kid leather covered glass hip flask.The leather is a good colour and in excellent condition. Good size, it holds 2 1/2 fluid ounces so a good pocket size.Made by James Dixon & Sons with the cap and cup both hallmarked in Sheffield with the date letter for 1920 on the flask and 1921 on the cup. Put together near the assay year change which is quite common.It comes with a cork lined bayonet cap and removable cup.Height 4 3/4 inches 12 cmWidth 2 2/8 inches 6 cmDepth 7/8 inch 2.3 cm.The condition is excellent and the flask is liquid tight with no leakage.
