Description

Fruit wood and pine cased 8 day bracket clock circa 1900. Dome topped case with turned finials and side columns on a solid plinth base. Front opening casework with flat glass over steel dial plate with applied gilt spandrels and gilt winged angel head decoration. Silvered chapter ring with matt gilt brass centre and black roman hours with decorative blued steel hands. Square brass gong striking, spring driven, pendulum regulated movement, maker unknown but numbered to the back plate #82449.
