A very rare Edwardian English antique solid sterling silver box / potpourri or lavender pot. It is hallmarked for London 1901 with the maker being that of Samuel Jacob. It has beautifully made to mark for the coronation of King Edward VII with the lid being cast with the British emblems and the word souvenir. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 2.75 inches (7cm) across by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) tall and weighs 76 grams. A very rare high quality unusual piece.
