Description

The watch has a Swiss seven jewel stem-winding movement, identified as by Record, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some gentle unevenness.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside all three covers for London (import mark), 1918. The case is in has some fairly gentle unevenness to the front and back.

The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.

The dial is signed with the name of the original retailer, Bravingtons Renown. Renown was a brand name used by the London jeweller and retailer Bravingtons for watches sold under their name. The dial looks good to the naked eye. If viewed through a jeweller’s loupe, there is small patch of short faint hairlines between 4 and 5.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
