A very attractive pair of sterling silver serving spoons in their original box. Each spoon bowl of shell form, the handles terminating in acanthus leaf shell decoration. The pair are fitted in a leather box with gilt rim. The inside with dark blue silk and velvet. Each spoon is hallmarked for Wakely & Wheeler, London, 1897.

Each spoon is 21cm long, the bowl is 6.3cm wide.
The box dimensions are 25cm wide by 14cm deep.
Condition
The spoons are in very good condition, hardly any use, just a few scuffs and wear to the box, but the hinge works well.
