Flight Barr & Barr Worcester Porcelain Botanical Dessert Dish C.1820

A gorgeous Flight, Barr & Barr period Worcester porcelain dessert dish of lobed square form with gilt gadrooned rim. A sumptuous bright apple green enamel ground with a shaped central reserve edged in gilt scrolls and finely painted in the centre with a botanical specimen of a Nasturtium. Impressed mark to the back and the plant specimen names in red enamel script. c.1820.
 
It measures 23cm (9'') wide and 3.9cm (1 1/2'') high.
 
In excellent condition: there has been a chip on the reverse of one of the gadroon buds, this cannot be seen from the front. No other damage or repair and very minor handling wear.
