A sweet Spode Felspar cream jug in the Octagon shape with moulded floral detail to the belly. Four sprays of garden sprays in bright enamels to the sides and below the spout and handle and very sweet small butterflies to each corner. Gilt stylised vine frieze sandwiched between gilt dentil borders and further gilt accents to the inner rim, foot and acanthus leaf to the handle. Rare ''1821'' variation of the large printed Felspar mark to the base and painted pattern number 3496 in red. c.1821

It measures 14cm (5 1/2'') long and 7.6cm (3'') wide and 8.5cm (3 3/8'') high.
In excellent condition with no damage or repair and minimal handling wear.
