The scene depicting Phalaris ordering Perillus to be roasted inside the bronze bull; to right, the tyrant Phalaris seated on his throne in profile to left and crowned with laurel, pointing at Perillus, who is being pushed into the side of the bronze bull, standing to left facing front, with various other figures behind.
After a house facade painted by Polidoro da Caravaggio in the Via dei Coronari, Rome
Lettered in margin with title, and ''Polidorus de caravagio pinxit / Gio Marco paluzzi le stampa in piazza navona''
The British Museum have a copy of this etching in thier collection, number 1873,1213.510.
The etching appears to have been cut down to the margins and is within a modern mount and frame.
