Andrew Cox Antiques has dated this piece to the Regency era.
The deep, flared rims are notch cut and to the bases are polished pontils. The saucers repeat the band of notch cutting to the rims, along with the panel of hobnail cutting and are delightfully finished with a star cut bases. Unusual to find in pairs and rarer still with the original saucers, these wonderful examples would grace any table and make a excellent addition to any collection. Dimensions below.
