Description

This Charming Clock was Presented to a Mr PW Pettyfer of Canterbury in 1933 upon His Retirement From Southern Railway. Please see plaque. This could easily be unscrewed and reattached elsewhere if preferred.

The Clock is unfussy and of a size suitable for all types of homes - old and new - and rooms - large or small.

With Attractive Patina & Grain Figuring, the Clock is Handsome with its Brass Dial with Silvered Chapter Ring, The Long Trunk Door with Bevelled Glass and Raised on Bun Feet.

The Good Quality Triple Weight 8 Day Movement Has Been Checked, Serviced & Tested - Offered in Good & Full Working Order.

As well as Striking the Number of Hours on the O’clock, it also plays Westminster Chimes of increasing length on each of the 4 Quarters. Silent Lever.
