This is a lovely old piece, unusually it has two drawers at the bottom rather than one
Around the heavy top of the coffer there is twisted vine carving to complement the other carvings 0n the front, there is an oak candle box inside
The sides and back of the chest are panelled, the chest is on wheels these are not original but very handy as it is a very heavy piece
The Box has blacksmith made hinges it is a good colour, it is in good condition for its years there are a few use marks on the top but they blend in well
The coffer is 53” long, 23” deep and 30” high
