Victorian Button Back Library Armchair

19th century
Description

A very nicely shaped Victorian button back armchair, circa 1880, the tub back over curved arms and serpentine front sprung seat, raised on ring turned front supports terminating in original brass and porcelain castors.

A very comfortable and nicely proportioned chair in excellent condition, the green linen upholstery is marked in places but this could be improved with cleaning.

As with all our upholstery I can arrange re-covering with my upholsterer and supply fabric if preferred. Please get in touch for further details.

86cm high, 54c wide at the front, the seat 49cm deep and 35cm high. Total depth 80cm.
