The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The movement is signed with an arrow in a circle, the mark for Minerva. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks for Birmingham 1905, together with a sponsor’s mark for William Henry Sparrow. The case is beautiful condition and the engine turned detail to the back is still nice and crisp.
The glass lens is in lovely condition.
The dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes in a vintage presentation box.
