Antique Waltham Royal full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality 17-jewel stem-winding movement, Royal grade, which is working nicely. This is a good quality movement with a Breguet hairspring, Church 1892 patent regulator and screw set jewels. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 16,179,970 which dates it back to 1907. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and was made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, supplier of cases to Waltham UK. The case has a little unevenness and some surface marking, also some rubbing to the bottom by the hinges.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.

Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition (some reflection showing in the photos).

The signed dial has its original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. There are a couple of short faint hairlines between 11 and 12, but not too noticeable to the naked eye.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
