Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1950s.
It has Swiss hallmarks to the inside of the case and a small hallmark stamp to the side of the case confirming it to be solid 18ct gold.
The total diamond weight is approximately 2.5cts they are bright clean and evenly matched just as you would expect from a premier company like Omega
The watch has a backwinding Omega calibre 440 movement so there is no winder sticking out to spoil the look or get tangled in fibres, its also much easier to wind just by running your thumb over it. It sits in the hollow of your wrist and is totally unnoticable.
The silver dial is original and quite superb.
It fits a wrist size of up to 6 1/4 inches or 16 cms but this can easily be reduced or increased by any competent jeweller
The case measures 16mm in diameter.
The case and bracelet have been professionally cleaned and polished so it is absolutely pristine.
It also comes with its original inner and outer boxes, quite remarkable for a watch thats nearly 70 years old
As you would expect from Omega the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
Omega are one of the most exclusive makers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance which resonates class and really is a talking point.
