A very rare antique Victorian desk clock in the form of a military timpani drum. The clock surround with applied drum sticks and crowns and floral etching. The white enamel clock face with roman numerals. The clock back with metal rope style decoration sitting on a metal tripod base. The clock lifts out of its cradle to access the movement. The clock back with registration mark and G.B. & Sons and number 565. The design registration for 24th April 1873. The maker is George Betjemann & Sons a well known cabinet maker.
Comes with watch key to change time.
Condition
Good antique condition, small amounts of tarnish in areas, no damage to dial, runs when wound.
