Unusual Georgian Step Cut Port Wine Glass C1795-1800

Technical Description
A superb Georgian drawn trumpet port wine glass dating to c1795-1800. Very unusually, it has step cutting in bands down the bowl, with bridge cutting at the base and further step cutting down the stem. Conical foot with polished pontil.
No doubt a rare glass, the cutting being quiet exceptional. Facet cut forms from the late 18th century often have polished pontils and the absence of a support at the base of the stem would suggest late 18th.
