A lovely silver gilt silver bonbon spoon, dating from the late 19th Century and by the great name of Tiffany & Co. This superb example is fully cast and has a gilded shell bowl. The spoon is in the sought after ''raspberry'' pattern, featuring berries, leaves and a textured base. To the reverse the pattern is repeated at the heel of the shank and the name ''Jessie'' is engraved. As one would expect from this superior maker, the spoon is of excellent gauge silver and good quality. Bonbon spoons were used for serving sweet items, but the spoon''s large capacity bowl would work well for a number of alternative uses. An eye catching and practical piece. Dimensions below.
