A Derby Porcelain Plate Decorated In The Manner Of William Billingsley

A rare Derby porcelain plate c.1790. The central well painted with a bouquet of summer flowers on a sepia background in the manner of William Billingsley, moulded with undulating lobed borders, richly decorated with a yellow ground.
 
Marked in puce crown over letter crossed batons and letter ‘D’ and pattern number 99.
 
Provenance: R.H French Collection and formerly The Shaw Collection
 
Condition: Good. No damage. There appears to be some re-gilding to the gilded bands around the centre of the plate and also to the rim in places.
