An innovative fusion of Anglo-Japanese, Art Deco and Regency influences
A.J Rowley was an influential firm of framers and decorative artists founded around 1901. They were originally based in Silver Street, moving to Kensington Church Street in 1916.
A. J Rowley has signed this work, other notable designers for the firm include Frank Brangwyn and W. A Chase.
Original condition with losses to the gesso as per images. The crest looks original and was possibly a specific request from the original client, but it is a little awkward and could be easily removed if required!
Reliable transport throughout the UK can be easily arranged at cosy price, please let me know if you have any questions
