Description

Gents Tissot Seastar wrist watch, 1967.

The watch has a 17-jewel calibre 782-1 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 9,220,339 which dates it back to 1967.

The watch measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition with just general light surface marks, nothing too serious. The inside of the screw-on case back is signed with the Tissot logo, as is the winding crown.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, centre seconds hand and date display (an early form of quickset which is initially set by moving the hands repeatedly between 12 midnight and 9.30pm until the desired date is reached).

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a Tissot presentation box.
