Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
With a raised collar broadening into the baluster body, spreading to a flat foot rim.
The scenes between bands of hanging and scrolled flowers adorned panels to the shoulders and bands of scrolling flowers and thence scrolling ferns toward the foot rim. The whole a very attractive decoration.
Date circa 1740.
