The desk is modelled after the same type of pedestal desk Charles Dicken's used to write classics such as 'Oliver Twist' and 'Great expectations

Hand crafted from mahogany with a wonderful patina and finish

Features a sloped writing surface and raised shelves to the back with four drawers to each turret and these can be locked

Writing surfaces are finished in tooled leather with gilt embossing

Very comfortable to sit at and over a great Victorian desk with a wonderful story behind it
