Kembery Antique Clocks Ltd has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The locking front door is glazed as is also the locking rear door. Above the front door and on 3 sides is a small Cavetto moulding with a thin rippled moulding. Circa 1840.

Francis Correll of Lutterworth is recorded in Loomes' ' Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World' book as working until 1850.
