Description

Gents 1960s Smiths Astral National 15 wrist watch.

The watch has an English Smiths 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is chromium plated and it is in good condition with just general light surface marking, nothing serious at all.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The dial is signed Smiths Astral National 15. The National 15 name originates from the 'Put on your National Hat' advertising campaign launched at the International Watch and Jewellery Trade Fair at Earls Court in September 1965.

There is light marking to the dial, again not too detrimental at all.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
