Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1750s.
The garniture comprising three baluster vases and a pair of trumpet vases. Each vase with an outswept rim, over the octagonal bodies. The bodies tapering and thence spreading to a rounded foot rim.
The reserves edged with emerging flowers and ferns, and filled with vibrant scenes of flowers and willow trees growing in a rising rock garden. The slightly inverted domed bases with makers marks for ONBEKEND DE CLAUW.
Date circa 1750.
