Antique Brass Letter Clip

1900 - 1920
Description

A good example of a brass letter or paper clip dating from the early 20th century. It is modelled in the form of a hand with an elegant cuff and ring on one finger. It is sprung and opens to act as the clip and there is a hole in the back for hanging.

It is in good original condition and has developed a lovely patina. There are no major damages and the hinge clip is in good order. There are a few minor surface marks and signs of age and use but nothing detrimental.
