Description

A nine-carat gold Georgian mourning brooch with a centrepiece of neatly braided hair beneath a bezel-set panel framed in a double row of natural seed pearls. There is a lovely contrast between the tiny inner pearls and the slightly larger outer ones which have a more silvery tone.

The brooch fixes with a C clasp and can also be worn as a pendant because a gold bail has been attached at the back.

Size: Approximately 1.3 x 2cm.
