A Rare Italian Millefiori Hand Blown Art Glass Duck

An exquisite Italian coloured art glass duck completely hand blown and made from millefiori glass which is a difficult medium produced with a complicated process using slithers from coloured glass canes. In this example, a mixture of light and dark blue, red, yellow, green and white has been further enhanced by infusing gold. The well modelled head is also gold detailed with an eye that is black and white and an orange glass beak. This delightful glass sculpture has a jewel like quality that would complement any collection or home.

Larger items would be personally delivered or sent with a specialist antique delivery firm, or for outside the U.K, a professional shipping company.
